Look, I know we’re BARELY past Halloween, but we’re already starting to see the winter holidays picking up in all of our ReStore locations! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc., or not, we can all get some joy out of a little seasonal spirit!
This may seem a little premature but the winter section of our ReStores are requiring constant upkeep with the hustle and bustle of the pre-holidays! By getting ahead of the curve, you can rest easy knowing you already have all your seasonal decorations at a reasonable price. You can thank me later.
With the holiday excitement building, it can be easy to get ahead of ourselves and fill our entire cart with every holiday decoration in sight. Before you know it, you’ve spent hundreds of unnecessary dollars on a bunch of stuff that will only be up for a couple months before being hidden away or worse…thrown out! (P.S. If you’re going to throw it out, just donate it to the ReStore instead – we’ll even pick it up for free!)

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE cheesy holiday knick-knacks. There’s something about the festive season that just persuades me to buy all the holiday decorations I can fit in my apartment (apologies to my roommate!). Thanks to Habitat HM’s ReStores, these knick-knacks can come with an affordable price tag.

The winter season is also the perfect time to book a team building day at our ReVive Centre! Tap into the giving spirit and channel it into creating recycled DIY projects that can be sold for charity in our ReStores!
ReVive recycles, transforms and breathes new life into donated products and materials that would otherwise be sent to the landfill. As a green-oriented initiative and the very first of its kind, the ReVive Centre is an innovative, unique idea that helps raise funds for Habitat’s operational costs and home building program, empowering low-income families in our community!
