Evolving from our grassroots origins, we have grown into a large nonprofit managed by a dedicated staff team. While volunteers remain essential to our mission, the traditional model of volunteers building single-family homes is no longer viable in today’s market. We are now sourcing land for new multi-unit developments, utilizing modular construction and innovative building practices to address the housing crisis.
We invite municipalities with available land to connect with us to explore partnership opportunities with Habitat HMD. By collaborating, we can work together to create affordable housing solutions that benefit our communities. Whether you’re looking to repurpose land or initiate new developments, we’re eager to discuss how our partnership can make a lasting impact on families in need.
