Building Employee Engagement at ReVive Team Centre

Team building, Group volunteering or Employee engagement in a CSR setting -- crafting wood pieces into upcycled or revived woodcraft items at Habitat HMD's ReVive Centre

At Habitat for Humanity’s ReVive Team Centre, corporate and community groups, as well as other group volunteers, have the opportunity to participate in a team building activity like no other; by assisting in bringing life back into products or excess wood pieces that could use a second chance. Not only are old donations ‘revived’ and upcycled, but our volunteers also have the chance to get creative and produce new and unique items using locally sourced materials. Items and materials are reused and repurposed to then be sold by Habitat, where 100% of the proceeds are used to support Habitat’s mission to build safe and affordable housing for families in need.

Group volunteering at the ReVive Team Centre is a great way to enhance employee engagement, while working on a cause that matters, and team building in a way that truly brings employees together.

Why choose to be a socially responsible company? Corporate social responsibility motivates and brings together employees looking to make positive contributions. Through group volunteering in programs that create positive change, employees are given the chance to use their skill set in a creative and inspiring way.

Whether you are a novice or a tool expert, ReVive is a great place to flex those creative muscles. Paired with an experienced crew leader, volunteers of all skill levels are encouraged to join and learn new skills or hone/sharpen their existing skill set.
